TAN HOP WIND POWER PLANT – FIRST WIND TURBINE INSTALLED, ACCELERATING TOWARDS COMPLETION
On August 8th, 2025, the Tan Hop Wind Power Plant, with a total capacity of 38 MW located in Lao Bao Commune, Quang Tri Province, celebrated a major milestone — the successful installation of its very first wind turbine. This marks an exciting step forward in the project’s journey towards clean, renewable energy generation.
Against a backdrop of challenging mountainous terrain and unpredictable weather, the achievement is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and teamwork of everyone involved — from engineers and technicians to on-site workers and partner teams. Each stage of the process was carefully planned and executed with precision, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every turn.
At present, construction teams are making all necessary preparations for the installation of the second turbine. All works are being carried out under strict supervision to ensure safety, adherence to schedule, and the highest quality standards.
The project not only contributes to the supply of renewable energy to the national power grid, but also supports the local economy, creates jobs, and makes a positive contribution to Vietnam’s long-term goals of green, clean, and sustainable energy development.
